Mark Drew sent over a copy of his Tupac tribute book TUHG LIFE a few months ago and I thought it was great. I wanted to know more so here are a few words with Mark Drew:

What?
I’ve worked freelance as a graphic artist since around 2004, the same year I co-founded China Heights gallery in Sydney. I occasionally exhibit my artwork, and have been making zines for fun since before I knew what an internet was. Recently I put a book together of Tupac drawings, and made a hat with New Era.
When?
Since 1978!
Where?
Australia, but been in Tokyo since 2009.
Why?
Straight out of highschool I worked in a bank for 5 years – after that I wanted to do the most opposite thing possible. Actually, turns out it’s not all that different (I still fake my way through many things).
How?
Wake up, check my email, decide to either reply, or go for a bike ride across town. Depending on the weather, it’s a 50/50 split.

a few of these prints made their way down from Canada and graced our mailbox this morning— with a few full frame 12x18’s, 8x10’s, and 4x6 prints. If you’d like to submit work or swap, hit us up! We’ve got a growing number of prints up to 40x60—or whichever size you prefer!
