Riley McMaster stopped by our new space after quite the bike ride (from Vancouver?) and left us a copy of the full-color glory that is No Bummers #1. This 36 page zine documenting his travels through America is… well, perfect. Excellent photos with pretty good color reproduction (we’ve been talking about this a lot, lately; high-priced zines with totally off colors. Blech.), excellent variations of layout from page to page keeps everything interesting and still clean. Above all, he really does take amazing photographs- anyone interested in either cycling or documentary work should keep an eye out for him. I’m not sure whether NB1 or 2 is still available outside of Antisocial, but you should probably shoot him an email.
