An independent film lab & photographic collective.

Where
We’re based in Leeds; but our lab services are for people all over the UK and we feature photographers from all over the world.

Why
The lab side of things started because we didn’t see anyone promoting emerging photographers work and helping them in a practical way at the same time. We also got pretty bored of careless, sub-par processing from high-street labs and higher prices from pro labs.

The collective was started originally as finding photographers who shot in a style that interested us weren’t to be found in one place, so it made sense to try and make somewhere to feature people who inspired or interested us.

When
No Culture Icons was founded in 2008. The film lab was founded late 2011 and we’re taking orders now!
